What we collect on this site, why, who we share it with and how long we keep it.

This is the privacy notice required by Article 10 of Turkey's Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK), and the cookie policy of this site.
Data controller
Octopix Digital is the data controller for your personal data. Email: info@octopix.digital.
What we process and why

Visit statistics never store your IP address. To tell repeat visits apart we derive a one-way key from your IP address and browser details, without cookies. We don't ask for sensitive data (health, beliefs and the like); please keep it out of your messages.
Who we share it with
We never sell your data or share it for advertising. These providers help us run the site and talk to you:
- Google (Google Workspace): our email. Form submissions and emails are kept here.
- Web3Forms: delivers the forms to our inbox.
- Crisp (France): live chat.
- Cloudflare: hosting, security and visit statistics.
- WhatsApp (Meta): if you message us on WhatsApp, the conversation runs through it.
Their servers are outside Turkey, so your data is transferred abroad under Article 9 of the KVKK. Authorities with legal power to ask may receive data, only to the extent requested.
How long we keep it
- Requests, messages and live chats that don't become a project: 2 years from the last message.
- If you become a client, contracts, proposals and invoices: 10 years, as the Turkish Commercial Code and Tax Procedure Law require.
- Visit statistics: 3 months.
After that, data is deleted or made impossible to link to anyone.
Cookie policy
Cookies and similar browser storage are small records a site leaves in your browser. This site has no advertising or tracking cookies. These are the records we use:

Our visit counters (Cloudflare Web Analytics and our own) use no cookies. We ask for your choice on your first visit. If you decline, the live chat does not load by itself; it loads when you press the chat button at the bottom right. You can change your choice any time under at the bottom of every page, or clear cookies in your browser settings.
Your rights
Under Article 11 of the KVKK you can:
- learn whether your personal data is processed and ask for information about it,
- learn why it is processed and whether it is used for that purpose,
- know who it is transferred to in Turkey and abroad,
- have it corrected if it is incomplete or wrong,
- have it deleted or destroyed under the conditions of the law,
- have corrections and deletions passed on to those it was transferred to,
- object to an outcome against you that comes only from automated analysis,
- claim compensation if unlawful processing causes you harm.
How to make a request
Email info@octopix.digital from an address we know is yours. We reply free of charge within 30 days. If our answer doesn't satisfy you, you can complain to the Personal Data Protection Board.
